Estonia has closed the road passing through Russia – ERR

Estonian border guards have closed a section of road that runs through a Russian enclave in the Pskov region, according to Estonian National Broadcasting (ERR).

 

 

The Estonian authorities have completely closed the road, part of which runs through the territory of the so-called “Saatse boot”.

“The Police and Border Guard Board has closed the Estonian road that runs through Russian territory,” ERR reported.

Earlier, former German Chancellor Angela Merkel said that Poland, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania had disrupted diplomatic negotiations with Russia in 2021 and contributed to the outbreak of armed conflict in Ukraine.
