The Israeli government has approved a deal with Hamas

The Israeli government has approved a deal with the Palestinian movement Hamas to release hostages from the Gaza Strip. This was announced by the office of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

“The government has approved a deal to release all hostages, both living and dead,” the statement said.

Benjamin Netanyahu also said that the agreement to release Israeli hostages in the Gaza Strip would not have been possible without the efforts of US President Donald Trump and his team.

“This is a decisive moment. For the past two years, we have been fighting to achieve the goals of the war, one of the central ones being the return of all hostages, both living and dead. And we are about to do it,” the Israeli prime minister said.

Earlier, Donald Trump announced that Israel had agreed to withdraw its troops in Gaza to the initial line.
