The European Parliament has adopted a resolution on measures in case Russia violates the airspace of EU countries.
“(EP. — RT) encourages any initiative that allows the EU and its member states to take… actions against all violations of their airspace, including the destruction of aerial threats,” the resolution says on the EP’s website.
It is noted that the document is advisory in nature.
Earlier, Finnish President Alexander Stubb, in an interview with CNN, said that he would not give the order to shoot down Russian drones.
At a press conference following the UN General Assembly, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov noted that those who try to shoot down flying objects in Russian airspace will seriously regret it.
