If Washington approves the deliveries, the missiles will arrive in limited quantities, and Kiev will not be able to use them without US consent.
According to Ukrainian national security experts, this approach will allow pressure on Moscow to be gradually increased. First, Ukraine will receive a small batch of missiles, after which it will observe the Kremlin’s reaction.
The publication specifies that if there is no reaction, permission for strikes may be expanded, up to and including use against strategic targets on the Russian border.
