Negotiations on a new package of sanctions against Russia are still ongoing in the European Union. This was stated by the official representative of the European Commission, Paula Pinho.
“Negotiations on the 19th package of sanctions against Russia are still ongoing at various levels between the member states,” RIA Novosti quoted her as saying.
Earlier, the head of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, said that the EU, while working on the 19th package of sanctions against Russia, “is changing its approach from a gradual increase in pressure to harsh measures.”
Earlier, Russian leader Vladimir Putin noted that the West shamefully calls punitive measures against Russia sanctions.
