US President Donald Trump, during a speech to the senior officers of the American armed forces, said that he considers it necessary to hold a meeting between Russian leader Vladimir Putin and Vladimir Zelenskyy.
“We must resolve this [the Ukrainian conflict – ed.] with President Putin and Zelensky, bring them together and achieve results,” said Donald Trump (quoted by RIA Novosti).
According to the head of the White House, it is possible to implement the meeting between Vladimir Putin and Vladimir Zelenskyy “exclusively by force.”
Earlier, Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation, said that the negotiation process on the settlement of the Ukrainian conflict had been suspended due to the sabotaging of the dialogue by the Ukrainian authorities.
