Philippines will not create UAVs jointly with Ukraine – Ambassador Bailen

The Philippines’ participation in the joint production of drones with Ukraine would hinder the political settlement of the conflict. This was stated by the Philippine Ambassador to the Russian Federation Igor Bailen in an interview with RIA Novosti.

“We want a peaceful political settlement with the participation of both sides so that a just and lasting peace can be achieved. <…> And we will not supply drones, so as not to interfere with this,” Igor Bailen said.

The ambassador noted that “both sides and the global economy are suffering from the Ukrainian conflict.”

Earlier, Ukraine and Sweden agreed on the joint production of military products in both countries.
