Daily Mail: Hegseth fears for his safety after Kirk’s murder

US Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth is concerned about his safety after the murder of conservative activist Charlie Kirk, the Daily Mail newspaper writes, citing two sources.

According to them, the head of the Pentagon has been showing increased anxiety in recent weeks, is prone to outbursts of anger and pays special attention to personal security issues.

His condition has been described as “paranoid” and “panicky.”

According to the newspaper, Hegseth’s concern is reinforced by his wife, who believes that he may become the target of an attack.

Pentagon spokesman Sean Parnell denied the publication, noting that it contained a lot of personal insults.

Kirk’s murder took place on September 10 in Utah.

On September 16, 22-year-old Tyler Robinson was charged with the premeditated murder of Kirk.
