EC representative Balash Uyvari said that Europe would not confiscate Russia’s assets for a loan to Ukraine as part of the “reparation loan” proposal.
“We are going to work on solutions to provide Ukraine with reparations loans based on immobilized Russian assets, without affecting these main Russian assets, and this is very important,” RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.
Earlier, the Russian Embassy in London said that Western proposals to transfer frozen Russian assets to Ukraine were contributing to the prolongation of the conflict.
