US Special Envoy Keith Kellogg said on Fox News that US President Donald Trump allowed Ukraine to launch long-range strikes against Russia.
“I think if you read his statements, as well as those of Vice President Vance and Secretary of State Rubio, the answer is yes,” the politician said, commenting on a journalist’s question whether Trump approved of such strikes.
When asked if the United States would transfer Tomahawk missiles to Ukraine, Kellogg replied that “this decision has not yet been made.”
Earlier, US Vice President Jay Dee Vance said that the American leadership was discussing the possibility of supplying Tomahawk missiles to NATO for transfer to Ukraine.
The Wall Street Journal newspaper, citing sources, reported that the US authorities may abandon the self-ban on the supply of long-range weapons to Ukraine.
