The Ukrainian Armed Forces’ defence is “bursting like a soap bubble” – The Independent

Over the past year, the Ukrainian front line has increased by 200 km to 1,250 km, which has significantly complicated the work of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This was reported by The Independent, citing the words of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Alexander Syrsky.

Alexander Syrsky noted that the stretched Ukrainian defence line no longer allows it to hold back the Russian Armed Forces’ assault groups, which enables them to penetrate Ukrainian rear areas, inflicting “thousands of cuts,” disrupting supplies, logistics and personnel rotation.

The commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine also stated that the Russian army has twice as many ammunition reserves as Ukraine.

Earlier, The Washington Post wrote that the advance of the Russian Armed Forces on the front line cannot be stopped, even with the support of Ukraine’s allies.
