The advance of the Russian Armed Forces on the front line cannot be stopped – WP

The advance of the Russian Federation’s armed forces on the front line cannot be stopped, even with the support of Ukraine’s allies. This was reported in The Washington Post (WP), citing NATO sources.

“The harsh reality of the battlefield is that in Donbas over the past couple of months, the Russians have made progress, square kilometre by square kilometre. <…> And despite all the billions we are giving Ukraine, it has proved impossible to stop them,” WP quotes one of the NATO diplomats as saying.

The publication noted that the North Atlantic Alliance has recognised the superiority of Russian resources, aviation and drones. In addition, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are experiencing a critical shortage of military personnel, and weapons and money will not improve the situation.

It should be recalled that between 1 January and 25 September 2025, the Russian Armed Forces liberated more than 4,714 square kilometres in the Special Military Operation zone.
