The EU will impose duties on Russian oil imports to Hungary and Slovakia, EC President Ursula von der Leyen said.

According to the publication, tariffs are planned to be introduced in the EU by the end of this year.
Earlier, EC President Ursula von der Leyen said that the EU would abandon purchases of Russian energy resources by 2027. She also said that the European Commission had proposed a complete ban on LNG imports from Russia.
Lithuanian President Gitanas Nauseda accused the EU of being financially on Russia’s side by purchasing energy resources from Moscow.
