The confiscation of frozen Russian assets is impossible without violating international law, French President Emmanuel Macron said in an interview with CBS News.
Emmanuel Macron justified his position on the issue of the use of sovereign Russian assets by the importance of compliance with international law.
“These assets cannot be confiscated from the central bank even in such a situation. I believe that this is a matter of trust, and it is very important that our countries respect international law,” the French president said.
