The head of the White House, Donald Trump, said that on September 25, 2025, he would hold a meeting with Turkish leader Recep Tayyip Erdogan, during which military and trade deals would be discussed.
“I am pleased to welcome Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan to the White House on September 25,” Donald Trump wrote on the Truth Social network.
The American leader noted that he plans to discuss trade and military deals with Recep Tayyip Erdogan. In particular, it is planned to consider the possibility of a large‑scale purchase of Boeing aircraft and a major deal on F-16 fighter jets. Negotiations on the F‑35 fighter jets will also continue.
Earlier, during a telephone conversation with Vladimir Zelenskyy, Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced Ankara’s readiness to facilitate contacts between Moscow and Kiev.
