The American administration is in the process of discussing with the Afghan authorities the return of Bagram airbase.
The corresponding statement was made by the US leader Donald Trump.
“Let’s see what happens to Bagram, we are negotiating with Afghanistan,” RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.
Earlier, The Wall Street Journal, citing sources, reported that the United States is discussing with the Taliban the return of the American military to the Bagram base in Afghanistan.
