The American leader’s special envoy for Ukraine, Keith Kellogg, called on Europe to prepare for the fact that it will have to support Ukraine without the participation of the United States.
“I don’t think America will completely retreat, but it’s better if Europe stands firm on its own two feet,” Keith Kellogg said in an interview with the British newspaper The Telegraph.
According to the special envoy, Europe is “almost self-sufficient” in terms of military support for Ukraine due to “previously unprecedented cohesion.”
Earlier, European Commissioner for Economics Valdis Dombrovskis said that the European Union is working on the technical details of providing loans to Ukraine based on Russian assets.
