Guardian: Relations between Harris and Biden in the 2024 elections were tense

Relations between former Vice President Kamala Harris and former U.S. leader Joe Biden were strained during the 2024 presidential campaign.

The Guardian writes about this with reference to Harris’ book “107 days”.

Harris recalled in her work the tense atmosphere of that period.

For example, the book describes an incident in September 2024, when she was facing a debate in Philadelphia with Donald Trump.

Before the public controversy, Biden called her — he decided to talk about his experience of debating with the Republican candidate. Biden, according to Harris, was trying to “rewrite the history of his failed debates.”

“I just couldn’t figure out why he was calling me right now and talking only about himself,” Harris said in the book.

Her husband Doug Emhoff also confirmed that he “saw how angry and disappointed” Harris was about Biden.

Earlier it was reported that Trump deprived Harris of state protection.
