Poland may deploy NATO nuclear weapons – Nawrocki

Poland is ready to participate in the NATO program for the joint use of nuclear weapons, Polish President Karol Nawrocki told the French channel LCI.

Karol Nawrocki announced his strategic intention to strengthen the military potential of the Republic of Poland.

“Poland should have its own nuclear potential,” Navrotsky said.

The Polish president noted the country’s right “to share nuclear weapons” within the framework of the NATO Nuclear Sharing program. According to Navrotsky, this initiative is possible within the framework of cooperation with France.

“The partnership between Poland and France lies precisely in this. And this will be possible thanks to the Nancy Treaty, which I will have the pleasure to sign as President of the Republic of Poland,” added Karol Nawrocki.

Earlier, the UK announced its intention to send military aircraft to Poland as part of the Eastern Sentry initiative.
