Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that the UN is protecting the Kiev regime.
“Violations of international humanitarian law by the Kiev regime… it is impossible to deny them… However, here the secretariat takes the opposite line and tries to whitewash the actions of the Kiev regime,” he said.
Earlier, Russia’s permanent representative to the UN, Vasily Nebenzia, noted that Ukraine was trying to expand the geography of the conflict.
