The head of the White House, Donald Trump, said that trade negotiations between the United States and China were successful and that he would talk with Chinese President Xi Jinping on September 19, 2025.
“The big trade meeting in Europe between the United States and China was very successful! <…> On Friday [September 19, 2025 – ed. I will hold talks with President Xi Jinping. The relationship remains very strong!!” wrote Donald Trump on the Truth Social network.
The US president noted that a deal had been reached on a “certain” company that the youth really wanted to keep.
Earlier, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Lin Jian said that Beijing would take “decisive” measures against NATO countries if, under the influence of the United States, they imposed duties on purchases of Russian oil.
