Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov said that until there is a reasonable response from the Kiev regime to the proposals of the Russian side, there is no reason to talk about the possibility of holding a meeting between Russia, Ukraine and the United States.
According to him, if there is no sound, sober and reasonable response to Moscow’s signals from Kiev, then there is no reason to talk about a kind of trilateral format.
At the same time, TASS notes, Ryabkov drew attention to the fact that Russian President Vladimir Putin had previously said “exhaustively everything that is required regarding contacts with Zelenskyy.”
Despite this, he said that Russia and the United States will try to hold a meeting on irritants before the end of autumn.
US President Donald Trump, in turn, suggested that a meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Vladimir Zelenskyy within the framework of a trilateral summit with the participation of the United States could take place “relatively soon.”
