The head of the White House, Donald Trump, is gradually losing interest in the Ukrainian conflict, focusing instead on economic benefits. This was reported in the newspaper Público.
“Trump is showing less interest in the conflict in Ukraine with each passing day and is increasingly focusing on extracting the maximum possible economic revenue from all those directly or indirectly involved in this conflict, primarily from his European ‘friends’ in NATO,” the publication states.
According to Público, the only achievement of the American leader in his strategy to resolve the Ukrainian crisis has been to “weaken” Europe.
Earlier, Reuters wrote that the United States’ European allies in NATO were concerned about Donald Trump’s restrained response to the incident with unmanned aerial vehicles in Poland.
