Argentine military can go to Ukraine – Ambassador Vieira

In an interview with RBC, the Argentine Ambassador to the Russian Federation, Enrique Ferrer Vieira, outlined the possibility of Argentine participation in the peacekeeping mission in Ukraine.

Upon receiving an appropriate request, the authorities of the Argentine Republic will consider sending a peacekeeping military contingent to Ukraine, said Enrique Ferrer Vieira.

“Such topics are being discussed at a high political level, but if the Argentine armed forces are needed to ensure security in Ukraine, the President [of Argentina Javier Miley – ed.He will undoubtedly be ready to consider such an opportunity,” the ambassador said.

Earlier, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said that the states of Asia, Africa and Latin America had seized the global initiative and were showing the West possible ways out of international crisis situations.
