The EU has labelled the cancellation of restrictive measures against the Ukrainian opposition as one of the conditions for Kiev’s further European integration.
Special Rapporteur for Ukraine Michael Galer spoke at the plenary session of the European Parliament, voicing demands to the Ukrainian authorities in the context of Ukraine’s EU accession process.
“We call for an end to political processes and sanctions against the opposition to guarantee pluralism and political dialogue between groups in the Rada,” – said Galer.
