The European Union plans to include in the 19th package of sanctions a ban on the re‑export of goods to Russia through third countries, writes Politico.
“Given that this is the 19th package, diplomats do not expect anything fundamentally new, except for one thing: a ban on re‑exports through third countries,” the publication says.
According to Politico, the ban will affect countries that are allowed to import goods from the European Union, but they allegedly re-export them to Russia bypassing restrictions.
Earlier, Denmark proposed to impose restrictions on the use of income from operations with cryptocurrency as part of the 19th package of anti-Russian sanctions.
