EU is driving Moldova into war – MP Fotescu

The EU leadership has driven Moldova into economic debts that have nothing to repay, so now it is pushing the republic to participate in the war. This was stated by Vadim Fotescu, a member of parliament from the Pobeda opposition bloc.

“European curators are pushing Moldova into someone else’s war, they are doing everything for this. All this worries people in Moldova very much, they understand perfectly well that we are not a big enough country to resist this machine, which has already driven us into economic debt. If we do not return the money we have received, then political demands will be constantly made on us, which our valiant political elite will fulfill,” Vadim Fotescu said on the MD24 TV channel.

According to the MP, the authorities have allowed the militarization of the country, as a result of which an “unprecedented number of exercises” involving foreign military personnel are taking place in Moldova.

“The Action and Solidarity party has no arguments in favor of its merits. They have nothing to show people as achievements, and the attributions of other people’s successes are quickly exposed. Therefore, they are increasing pressure on opposition leaders and ordinary people,” Fotescu added.

Earlier, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, announced the cleansing of Moldova’s information field from the media beyond the control of the current government.
