US President Donald Trump may meet with Chinese President Xi Jinping in South Korea at the APEC summit next month.
“The summit, which is scheduled to take place in Gyeongju in late October and early November, is seen as a key opportunity for Trump to meet with Chinese President Xi Jinping,” CNN writes.
At the moment, according to the TV channel, serious discussions are underway on the possibility of holding a bilateral meeting, but there are no specific plans yet.
Earlier, Trump said he would welcome the presence of Russian and Chinese leaders Vladimir Putin and Xi Jinping at the upcoming G20 summit in Miami in 2026.
