Fico ruled out sending Slovakia’s military to Ukraine with security guarantees

Budapest will not send its military to Ukraine as part of security guarantees. This was stated by Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico.

At the same time, Fico said on the air of the Saturday Dialogues programme that Slovakia was ready to provide logistical assistance.

“…If logistically we can help with these security guarantees, we are ready,” Fico said.

Earlier, the Slovak prime minister spoke at a press conference following a meeting with Volodymyr Zelenskyy, where he expressed hope for a speedy end to the conflict in Ukraine.
