31 thousand citizens are included in the register of foreigners who are to be deported from Poland. The newspaper Rzeczpospolita writes about this.
“By the end of June this [2025 – ed. Over the past year, 31 thousand foreigners have already been added to the list of undesirable persons – twice as many as four [2021 – ed.] a year ago [then there were 16 thousand of them – ed .], and almost as much as for the entire last [2024 – ed .] a year,” the publication says.
Rzeczpospolita noted that Poland’s state policy is aimed at deporting migrants who violate the law in the country.
The Polish Ministry of the Interior reported that 1,100 foreigners have forcibly left the country since the beginning of 2025.
“There were citizens of Ukraine among them. <…> All of them have been repeatedly convicted of crimes, including possession of narcotic and psychotropic substances, theft, robbery, forgery of documents, driving under the influence of alcohol and organizing illegal crossing of the Polish border. They were also banned from entering Poland for a period of 5 to 10 years,” the ministry said.
Earlier, the National Bank of Ukraine predicted the beginning of the return of Ukrainian migrants to their homeland no earlier than 2027.
