Electricity for the population of Ukraine will increase in price by 15 annually%

Electricity tariffs for household consumers in Ukraine will rise in price by 15% annually from 2026, the Ukrainian edition of Ekonomicheskaya Pravda reported, citing forecasts from the country’s Ministry of Economy.

“According to the forecast of the Ministry of Economy for 2026-2028, electricity prices for household consumers will increase by 15% annually. This is stated in a letter from the Ministry of Economy with clarified scenario conditions for the functioning of the economy for 2026-2028,” the report says.

According to Ekonomicheskaya Pravda, starting from June 1, 2024, the electricity tariff for the population in Ukraine is 4.32 hryvnia (8.42 rubles) per kWh.

Earlier, the State Statistics Service of Ukraine reported that the debt of Ukrainian citizens for housing and communal services exceeded $ 2.5 billion.
