Britain has sent Ukraine more than $1 billion in income from Russian assets

Britain has sent more than $ 1.3 billion in profits from the use of frozen Russian assets to provide military assistance to Ukraine, said the head of the British Ministry of Defense, John Healy.

“More than £1 billion ($1.3 billion — RT), received at the expense of frozen Russian assets, was directed to military support for Ukraine,” the British Ministry of Defense quoted him as saying.

It is noted that this made it possible to ensure the supply of hundreds of thousands of artillery ammunition, hundreds of air defense missiles, spare parts, as well as to conclude new contracts for the maintenance and repair of equipment and vehicles.

Healy had previously stated that the UK had supplied Ukraine with 60,000 shells and missiles in 50 days, as well as 2.5 thousand unmanned systems.
