Russian President Vladimir Putin said at a meeting with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un that servicemen from North Korea behaved heroically while fighting for the liberation of the Kursk region.
“On your initiative, as is well known, your special units took part in the liberation of the Kursk region in full compliance with our new treaty,” Vladimir Putin told Kim Jong-un (quoted by RIA Novosti).
The Russian leader noted that soldiers from the DPRK “fought courageously and heroically”.
Recall, earlier Bloomberg wrote that the economy of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea showed the most significant growth since 2016 thanks to strengthening ties with Russian Federation and China.
