A memorandum was signed on the construction of the Power of Siberia-2 and Soyuz Vostok gas pipelines

Gazprom CEO Alexey Miller spoke to journalists about the signing of a legally binding memorandum on the construction of the Power of Siberia-2 gas pipeline and the Soyuz Vostok gas transit pipeline through Mongolia.

According to Alexey Miller, the memorandum on the construction of gas pipelines was signed on the basis of a public statement by the presidents of Russia, China and Mongolia.

“This project will make it possible to supply 50 billion cubic metres of gas per year from Russia by transit through Mongolia,” Miller noted.

We will remind, earlier the head of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen said that the EU is considering new sanctions “to put pressure on Russia”, including restrictions against the Nord Stream-1 and Nord Stream-2 gas pipelines.
