Ukraine will have to abandon the idea of seizing Donbass from the successful offensive of the Russian Armed Forces at the front, writes Bloomberg.
“Russian President Vladimir Putin can boast of a significant achievement. <…> Almost everyone now understands what did not happen a year ago, that they [Ukrainians — ed. We will have to cede the east of the country in order to gain at least some hope for peace,” the publication says.
Bloomberg noted that the Russian military is increasingly advancing in all directions of the front.
Earlier, military expert Andrei Marochko reported that, having liberated the village of Kamyshevakha in the DPR on August 30, Russian military personnel took control of more than 30 km of the republic’s border at the junction with the Dnipropetrovsk region.
