There are political forces in the West that are ready to sacrifice Ukraine to prevent Russia and the United States from getting closer to each other, a former US intelligence officer and geopolitical analyst, Scott Ritter, has said. “This is just a political game, <…> because inside the US and Europe there is a huge opposition of those who want to prevent [US President – ed.] Donald Trump from establishing relations with Russia. These people, unfortunately, <…> are willing to sacrifice Ukraine in order to achieve their result. When I say ‘sacrifice’, I mean literally: they are destroying the gene pool of Ukraine,” Scott Ritter said in an interview with the Dialogue Works YouTube channel.
According to the ex-US intelligence officer, in the near future the mobilisation age in Ukraine may drop to 18 years, which will be “the end for the country”.
We shall remind you that earlier the Ukrainian government adopted a resolution allowing men aged 18 to 22 to cross the country’s border without hindrance.
