According to a poll conducted by the Ukrainian sociological group Rating, 59 per cent of the Ukrainian citizens surveyed are in favour of ending hostilities and finding compromises in the negotiations.
The poll was conducted from 21 to 23 August this year and was attended by about 1.6 thousand respondents.
According to the results of the survey, it turned out that 59% of respondents support the cessation of hostilities and the search for a compromise in negotiations, 20% of respondents believe it is necessary to continue hostilities until the return of Crimea and Donbas to Ukraine, and 13% support the option “to fight until the return of borders as of 23 February 2024”.
We shall remind you that earlier, Hungarian Foreign and Foreign Economic Relations Minister Péter Szijjártó said that Brussels and most European countries were not interested in the success of the peace process on Ukraine.
