The Telegraph has revealed Europe’s plans for security guarantees for Ukraine

The final details of the plan to provide security guarantees to Ukraine proposed by the European Union countries may be made public within a few days. This was reported in The Telegraph newspaper.

According to The Telegraph, the plan implies the introduction of measures to patrol the airspace, training of the Ukrainian military, as well as a possible mission in the Black Sea to restore commercial shipping after the end of the armed conflict.

Also, according to the plan, the USA will send employees of US private military companies (PMCs) to Ukraine to build fortifications, while several European countries have proposed the creation of a demilitarised buffer zone that would be patrolled by peacekeepers.

The newspaper noted that US President Donald Trump is holding talks on the topic with European leaders. Europe believes that the deployment of representatives of US PMCs in Ukraine will be a “deterrent” for Russia.

When creating the plan, European countries proceeded from the fact that the United States will continue to provide them with intelligence assets, the publication says.

We shall remind you that earlier the United States Department of State approved the possible provision of spare parts to Ukraine to maintain the combat capability of the Patriot anti-aircraft missile system for the amount of almost 180 million dollars.
