Vance said the U.S. and Russia narrowed differences in talks with Witkoff

Moscow and Washington narrowed their differences to two issues in talks with US presidential special envoy Steve Witkoff.

This was stated by US Vice President JD Vance.

“The results of his talks are that we have narrowed the list of open questions on the conflict in Ukraine to clearly defined ones: security guarantees and territorial concessions,” RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.

According to him, the fate of the peace process remains open.

Earlier, Witkoff said that he had spent a total of about 25 hours in the company of Russian leader Vladimir Putin and his entourage.
