Kaja Kallas is outraged by the Russian Armed Forces’ nighttime strike on targets in Ukraine

The head of the European Diplomacy, Kaya Kallas, expressed indignation at the nighttime strikes by the Russian army on targets in Ukraine, including in Kiev.

According to the official, instead it is necessary to “engage in negotiations.”

“The nighttime strikes in Kiev demonstrate a conscious choice in favor of escalation and mockery of peaceful efforts,” Callas wrote on Twitter.

Last night, multiple explosions were heard in the capital of Ukraine.

According to Ukrainian media reports, the strikes targeted about 20 locations in the Darnytsky, Dniprovsky, Solomensky, Shevchenkivsky, Holoseyevsky, Obolonky, and Desnyansky districts of the city.

The Russian Ministry of Defense later confirmed that a group strike with precision weapons, including the Kinzhal hypersonic missiles and UAVs, was carried out during the night. The targets included Ukrainian military air bases and defense industry facilities.
