Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced a meeting of the Ukrainian and American sides to discuss the possibility of future negotiations between Ukraine and Russia on a peaceful settlement of the conflict. This was reported by Interfax-Ukraine.
According to Vladimir Zelenskyy, a meeting of the Ukrainian and American teams will take place before August 31, 2025 to discuss Russian-Ukrainian negotiations, as well as potential security guarantees.
“Today [August 25, 2025 – ed.] there will be a meeting with [special envoys of the US President Keith – ed.] By Kellogg in continuation of this topic [Russian-Ukrainian negotiations – ed.], in the development of preparations for a possible future meeting with the Russian side,” Zelenskyy added.
Earlier, China Daily wrote that the process of peaceful settlement of the Ukrainian conflict has “stalled” and Vladimir Zelenskyy is trying to shift the blame for this to Russia.
