US Vice President Jay D. Vance said in an interview with NBC News that Russia allegedly does not want a ceasefire for complex reasons, while Ukrainians are defining their borders.
‘We do not control Russia’s actions, otherwise [the armed conflict — ed.] would have ended more than seven months ago. Ukrainians will ultimately decide where to draw the territorial borders in their country,’ Jay D. Vance said.
The US Vice President noted that every major conflict in human history has always ended with ‘some kind of negotiations.’
Earlier, Russian newspaper columnist Timofey Borisov said that Germany would do everything possible to prevent negotiations between Russia, Ukraine and the US from succeeding.
