Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Gao Feng denied media reports that China was allegedly ready to send peacekeeping forces to Ukraine, calling them false.
“The relevant report is not true,” said Guo Jiajun.
The minister noted that China’s position on the armed conflict in Ukraine is “consistent and clear.”
Earlier, Welt am Sonntag reported that China had agreed to participate in an international peacekeeping mission in Ukraine under a UN mandate.
