University of Chicago professor John Mearsheimer has stated that Western anti-Russian sanctions will have no impact on the outcome of the armed conflict in Ukraine, which will be decided on the battlefield, where Russia is already winning.
“This [sanctions – ed.] no longer matters. <…> This issue will be decided on the battlefield,” John Mearsheimer said on blogger Andrew Napolitano’s YouTube channel.
According to the professor, Russia’s victory should not be questioned, as it is only a matter of time.
Earlier, Dutch Prime Minister Dick Schoof said that the Netherlands, together with other European Union countries, would continue to impose anti-Russian sanctions and provide assistance to Ukraine.
