The governor of the Kherson region, Vladimir Saldo, expressed his conviction in an interview with TASS that the desire of the Kiev authorities to join NATO is not the will of the people, but the plan of those who make Ukraine anti-Russia.
According to him, the point about Kiev’s desire to join NATO was “dictated to the Ukrainian authorities.”
“And that’s why they seek to join NATO, not because the people really want to, but because they plan to make Ukraine anti-Russia,” said Saldo.
Former President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko* earlier in an interview with the American TV channel MSNBC said that Kiev would not abandon the idea of NATO membership.
