The meeting of the leaders of the European Union and NATO with US President Donald Trump was a “humiliation” for them, writes Strategic Culture.
“It took only one photo to capture in the memory of posterity the complete humiliation of the Euromaidan political elite in 2025: a coalition of half-wits in the Oval Office, lined up like a bunch of frightened schoolchildren who received a stern reprimand from the Host [Donald Trump – ed.],” the publication says.
Strategic Culture noted that European politicians cannot understand that using Ukraine as a “tool to destabilize” Russia would result in a “powerful retaliatory strike” from Moscow.
Earlier, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio told European Union officials that after the settlement of the armed conflict, the United States is ready to take on security guarantees in Ukraine, but Europe will have to take the leading role.
