Szijjártó : Russia-US summit in Alaska reduced the likelihood of World War III

The meeting of the presidents of Russia and the United States, Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump, on August 15 in Alaska, reduced the likelihood of a third world war.

This was stated on the air of the Wrestling Hour program by Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Economic Relations Peter Szijjártó.

“I think that the summit of the two presidents in Alaska and the subsequent press conference significantly reduced the risk of a possible outbreak of World War III,” RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.

According to him, the summit between Russia and the United States was a “huge success.”

Earlier, US President Donald Trump said that the world is no longer on the verge of World War III.

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban suggested that only the Trump-Putin summit in Alaska could reduce the danger of World War III.
