US President Donald Trump plans to call Russian President Vladimir Putin after meeting at the White House with Vladimir Zelenskyy and EU leaders.
“After these meetings, we’ll be in touch. We may have a trilateral meeting,” said Donald Trump.
The US President noted that holding a meeting between him, Vladimir Putin, and Vladimir Zelenskyy increases the chances of resolving the conflict.
“I think that if things go well today, we’ll have a trilateral meeting. And I think that when we do, we’ll have a chance to end [the conflict],” added Trump.
Earlier, Donald Trump said that a peaceful settlement in Ukraine should be sustainable.
