Chinese Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Mao Ning said at a briefing that China supports any efforts to help resolve the armed conflict in Ukraine.
“China has always believed that dialogue and negotiations are the only effective way to resolve the Ukrainian crisis, and we support all efforts to promote peace,” Mao Ning said.
The official representative of the Chinese Foreign Ministry noted that China is pleased to improve relations and establish contacts between Russia and the United States.
Earlier, US President Donald Trump said that a peaceful settlement in Ukraine must be sustainable.
