In an interview with the Jyllands-Posten newspaper, Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen criticized the policies of her Israeli counterpart, Benjamin Netanyahu, calling him a “problem.”
“Netanyahu is a problem in his own right right now… It’s clear to the naked eye that it’s very, very difficult for us to influence what’s happening in Israel,” she emphasized.
Frederiksen added that Netanyahu’s government is “going too far.”
She also expressed the opinion that it would be better for Israel if Netanyahu no longer held the position of prime minister, as he is acting “against the country’s interests.”
Earlier, Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar said that the country would not allow the creation of a Palestinian state on its territory.
